Mass Intentions

If you would like to book a Mass for an anniversary or an intention on a particular date, then please try to do so sooner rather than later as the masses book up quickly, especially for weekends, and the bookings are made on a strictly first come, first served basis.

Funerals & Burials

Graveyard plots in the new area of the cemetary cannot be pre-booked. Plots will be allocated as single and double plots only. The fee for a single plot is €150. The fee for a double plot is €300. There is a map of the new area of the graveyard in the porch of the church with the plots numbered upon it. A register of these plots will be kept in the sacristy so that a record of which plots belong to whom in the new cemetery is always available.

The hall is available to families for refreshments after funerals. To offset the cost of light, heat, cleaning and consumables a fee will be applied for the use of the hall. The fee will be €50 for families who supply their own food, and €100 for families who wish to have biscuits supplied for them by the Hall Committee. Families supplying the food will be responsible for arranging its delivery to the hall.

Who is behind all this?

A note from the Creator/Designer/Manager: Aaron Guthrie

I thought that Drumkeen was falling slightly behind in the internet and social scenes. Therefore seeing as I had the necessary skill and resources I decided to start this project. I started with building this website, in which I used WordPress as the CMS, and partially designed the theme using HTML coding. As well as creating the free, weekly online newsletter which enables any member of the community, young or old to be able to get up-to-date news, events, reviews straight to their email inbox.
